The rapid spread of Vox codes demonstrate SixApart has learned well from Google's gmail: Invite codes when used properly are viral marketing genius. The illusion of scarcity drives interest and demand, and the constantly increasing the number of invites available ensures that their will be ample supply to meet the demand. To top it off, people asking around who wants their "generous" offer of codes equates to free and enthusiastic advertising. Gold! That be marketer's gold!

Yes, yes. All of this is very true. But there are lots of things Six Apart needs to work on as far as ease of use for Vox, and in general. It's not quite ready for prime time, as they say, but it's a good start.
I agree. Do you need a code? :)
Thanks for the offer, but I already have a Vox account. Haven't really don't anything with it yet, though.
I have one too & I have not had the desire to post there yet.. because, really I am an LJ girl. But Vox does have cool features that I wish LJ maybe had.. like the option to use your photobucket from the site and the option to upload a song. It is a little confusing though.
I admit I kinda wanted one just to see what all the fuss was about. :)
P.S. Those glasses are Fabulous :)
I had no idea you had one! Added you. :)
I'll trade you codes, though :)
I created an account to check it out, and I don't like it (not that I imagined I would, I'm biased). Further, I think it's interesting that they don't have any information on how to delete your account. I sent a message to 'feedback' asking them how to go about it, it's not in the account information, in their help 'archives', anything. | |
