The yard sale ended at 3pm. It picked up later in the day (after making only 10¢ the first hour and a half out there. Our hard-to-find location put a cap on the number of people who were able to turn out. We ended up pulling in $65.50. Not that bad on the face of it, however that represents a rate of $3.28/hr taking into account the time spent organizing, pricing, setting up, taking down, placing ads online, creating signs, putting up signs, and actually running the sale. Still, I think I'll do it again. |
