I made a new clock. Mostly bashed one of those plastic round store clocks with a hammer and screwdriver. I wanted to burn the face, but the face didn't burn well enough. Or, I should say, burnt to good. The flame wouldn't stop. I just dropped what was left of the melted twisted burning clock face into the scratched up pie pan I was using as an ash tray. I had to wash my hands to get all the black goo off from the damn clock face. I hate to think of how much of that most probably highly toxic shit I must have breathed in.

The clock, however, did turn out well. Not one of my best works, but I like it. It will hang in the room of clocks (our kitchen) with the other thirty or so clocks on the wall.

My mood has greatly improved since the clock making experience an hour ago and the cutting experience an hour before that. I think I'm going to do something creative. I feel the need to. I'm not sure what I'm going to do. Make another clock? Work my online quiz? Paint wish pods? Something else? I'll have to look around the playroom and decide what I want to do.

I just put up a wood sign above the entrance to my playroom. It reads: "WORK  CRAFTS  MISCHIEF" in gold and black on white.

Soon I'll be off to a party at Thom's house. My method of getting home is a bit in doubt, but I'm sure I will. This will be fun. I haven't been to a party in quite a while. Getting back out to parties is a good step in the right direction.
