Pulses

Date and Time  - Jan. 30th, 2002, 03:00 am

Current Mood  - worried worried
Current Music  - silence

The past two weeks I have been experiencing what I can best describe as pulses. Other members of the Central Group are feeling them too. I'm not exactly sure what they are.

During a pulse, everything seems to move suddenly, but nothing really moves. Random twitches and dizzy spells are on the upswing as well and often accompany the pulses. The random twitches and dizzy spells are nothing new, they've been around since at least the end of the Age of Floaters some 15 years ago. However, the pulses are new. They seem to come in clusters, then stop for a while, than start up again. The pulses don't really interfere with anything, but are disconcerting none the less.

I'm worried that the pulses might be some sort of symptom of the weakening of the Central Group. If the Central Group falls apart, we'll be returned to the Age of Floaters. We're having enough trouble now, without being cast back into the Dark Times. I don't even know what the floaters (what we call alters that do not share time) are like. We have to go on the descriptions of others for that knowledge. The floaters were essentially banished for some time, as the stability of the Central Group has left little room for them. But their starting to make appearances again.

I may be jumping to conclusions about the pulses. The pulses could be something else entirely, but I have been worried about the fate of the Central Group for some time now. This is just the newest in a growing number of worrying signs.
