Went to the doctor this morning about the burn. It was starting to get redder and hurt more, so I was worried it might be getting infected. Apparently it was in the initial stages of an infection. My doctor told me it was good that I came in when I did. She also told me that I'd been taking proper care of it, but sometimes infections are inevitable with second degree burns. She did ask me if it was really an accident. The question took me by surprise, but I guess with my history of self injury it should have been expected. She gave me prescriptions for Cephalexin to take for the next 10 days and Silver Sulfadiazine cream to put on the burn.

Arriving home, I got online only and the power went out. It stayed out for 3 hours. I heard from one of the women that work at the corner store that the electric company was performing maintenance on the lines in the neighborhood.

I did have a set back today. I purged. For the first time in 11 days. However, I'm not going to let this slip-up keep me down. Not this time. Even if I slip up again, I'm not going to give up. I can't. I won't.

I sat on my cat's eye glasses and broke one of the hinges in half. I don't think it can be fixed.
