Two of Three

Date and Time  - Jan. 4th, 2003, 05:09 pm

Current Mood  - mellow mellow
Current Music  - Culture Club - Do You Really Want to Hurt Me

[info]purpleglitter, [info]merryperseis and I watched The Fellowship of the Ring last night. I hadn't actually seen it yet. I really liked it. A very good adaptation of the novel. I very much want to see The Two Towers now.

-----

I was planning to take a walk in the snow around 3:00am last night with [info]merryperseis. I wanted to show her what the Lurking was. Neitherday is the best time to experience the Lurking. Everything is quite. The energy flows with less interference while most sleep. Unfortunately, by the time 3:00am rolled around, the snow had turned to a cold dreary rain, and the walk was canceled. Some other night perhaps.

-----

We had 3 roommate interviews for this afternoon. 1 didn't show up, but the 2 that did were very good candidates. I really hope one of two takes the room. They both seemed interested. Rent will be so much less of an issue once we get a 4th roommate.

-----

There was one person, Robin, that emailed me about the room in early December. She sounded like the perfect roommate candidate (even though the candidates we have now are very good, Robin was perfect). Unfortunately, every email I've tried to send in reply to her has bounced. I would still like to meet her, even if the room is filled. Alas, I doubt that will happen, as I have no way of contacting her.

Collision

Date and Time  - Jan. 4th, 2003, 09:21 pm

Current Mood  - surprised surprised
Current Music  - The Cure - If Only Tonight We Could Sleep

Coming back from a packy run into Cambridge, someone rear ended the bus I was on, just as I was walking down the steps to get off. The impact jolted everyone forward, luckily there were no injuries. I can see the bus driver talking to the driver of the car out my window.
