The Last Setting of the Sun

the sun will set
but once more
beneath the forgotten trees
and no longer shine
through the prisms
of shattered tears

the cold winter winds
will no longer stir
the dust of ages past
and all the monsters
will walk away
their footprints soon lost
in the drifting snow

i watch a crow
fly into the horizon
and i know
i will not see the sun again

I will see the sun again.

I walked myself into the psych emergency room at Cambridge Hospital. I don't know where they're going to send me yet, but I'm going to be hospitalized. I know that if I was home tonight, I would've tried to kill myself, so I thought it best to seek help.
