Balancing 30 filters can lead to errors. While the most recent error was far from disastrous, I do need to keep closer tabs on who has access to which entries.

There are very many stresses in my life right now. I feel as if I'm being pulled in every direction at once. So many hooks wanting to sink into me. Wanting to pull me apart again. A seemingly endless supply of things to be stressed by. At some point I have to accept that I cannot make everything well. I must simply make the best with what is. Accepting that is something I'm working on, for it's easy to say, it is easy to know, but it not easy to truly accept and be mindful of. Now is an important time to make that effort. To be mindful and stay centered. The winds are howling and change is coming whether I want it or not. If chaos is to rain down, then I must be at peace with the storm. I must not fight the wind, instead I must seek the future.

Yesterday, purpleglitter gave me two Godiva chocolate dipped strawberries for Valentine's Day. The plumpest reddest juiciest strawberries covered in luscious Godiva chocolate. I've been given chocolates on many occasions by many people, but never anything like this. Nothing approaching this. I ate one of this morning. Wow! Wow! Wow! Amazing doesn't even begin to cover it. I'll probably eat the other sometime later tonight. |

dicotomygrrl came over tonight. We had intended to watch Firefly, but since we would have only had time to watch one episode, we decided to just hang out instead. She showed me around a favorite time waster of hers, Kingdom of Loathing. She walked me through creating a character: Seroquel, Disco Bandit. I got to beat up bunnies and cans of asparagus with my disco ball. If I continue to play, I'll get to the point where I will be able to handily dispose of Orcish Frat Boys like dicotomygrrl can. I, however, am wondering if I really need a new way to waste time. I will probably poke around the game some more, but I will endeavor not to get too sucked in. |
