i tend to like the ones i have to teach about GID so that they don't have this idea that i should be a 45-year-old in heels and a horrible Talbots dress.

so, i keep meaning to ask: have you noted any thrift stores near boston, since you're all about the thrift stores, with funkier selections? any idea (since i know this doesn't really hit you) about if they have much of a selection of bigger stuff? i could go there when i was home and i wouldn't have to go to Reading, Penna or Delaware to find stuff. (the local thrift shops are dowdy and don't carry anything past 12. fuck off, morons.)

i don't know if i simply lucked out or not, but after on and off trying the therapy thing and being pretty dissapointed by every one of them, i met someone absolutely amazing through a $20/pop individual session group of folks still in school. over the four years i saw this person she finished school & went on to become really well-respected in the area. so here's my vote for looking for one through whatever schools might be around.
