I caught one of the mice in the kitchen. She surprised purpleglitter. She's so tiny and cute! I'm going to keep her as a pet. I have her in some Tupperware with holes punched in the top. Tomorrow I'm going to petco and getting a cage. I wondered if I should catch her or let her go, but with the cats in the house, I figure it's better to keep her safe. I'm excited. A new pet! |

MICE & DISEASE Mice can transmit disease to man. Rat-bite fever and Weil's disease can be transmitted by Mice. The droppings of Mice can carry the organisms which cause food poisoning. Murine typhus can be carried by their Fleas, Rickettsial Pox can be transmitted by a Mite which lives on them.
Mice are really cute -- we used to have them in our old apartment. But I imagine the wild ones don't make good pets. | |
