I met with the two facilitators of the Safety and Self Care group for an intake meeting today. It went well. They told me that people are discouraged from talking about triggery topics in depth, which was one of my concerns. They both seem very nice, and the group's plan closely matches my goals. I look forward to working in the group and continuing on my path of healing.

My husband went to an intake meeting for out-patient depression counseling a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, he did not decide to go to the meetings. Things have not gotten better for him, so basically he has to go to the meetings or risk losing his job. If you have any tips or words of encouragement for him, please leave them in his journal. He is sdragonstone. He seems to still be so ashamed of his depression and worries about others finding out. I've tried to explain that the people in the out-patient group are going throug hthe same things as him, and that they might be able to help him learn coping skills better than me or his counselor. Of course you do not have to do this, but I didn't think it would hurt to ask. Thank you and good luck with the new group!
you seem to be doing extremely well. cheers!
