I want to start painting and giving away wish pods again. I've given a few away recently, but that has been the more the exception than the rule. In order to start giving them away more regularly, I need to build up a supply again, as most of the one's I painted were given away long ago.

I did this piece in the asylum a number of years ago, though I'm not sure exactly how many. It was done at Holy Family or on Cahill 3 or 4 or perhaps at Anna Jaques — I just don't remember. It's been quite a while and so much was going on then that the where and when has been lost in the clutter of my mind.

It was supposed to be a self portrait, but in my opinion it did not turn out looking recognizably like me.

As predicted, yesterday follow the plan to well and I'll make the same prediction for today and tomorrow because of planned activities. Monday hopefully I should be back on track. Anyway here's the damage:

No exercise. Macaroni and cheese for breakfast, Rotini with tomatoe sauce and cheese for lunch, bean quesadilla for dinner, and fruit with dip at purpleglitter's birthday party for my healthy snack. My unhealthy snacks were key lime pie (purpleglitter's birthday "cake"), pre-popped buttered popcorn, and a Milky Way candy bar.

The furnace needed to be drained. Which meant a trip down to the dark basement with a candle. When I grabbed for the candleholder, an idea hit me.


I built the candle ring. I thought a small candle would be easier to wield, so I cut the longer taper down. While cutting the candle I managed to take a slice out of my finger. I used the last bandage, must remember to go out and get some more.

I went down to the basement using the candle ring. While I was draining the furnace, noticed that the candle burnt fine titled sideways. This should have been obvious, since I turn them sideways to light them. As I tilted the candle another idea hit me.


I have yet to make the device. I'll need to pick up pieces for it. I'm going to be running around all day tomorrow, so I shall pick up the supplies Thursday.

I just found this picture from our "Be Bad On Good Friday" party last year while organizing old files on my harddrive.



Now I'm going to go through my site access logs and look for leeches.
