| Movie Losers | ||
gacked from many: If you've seen over 70, you have no life. Number the ones you've seen. Post your score and feel like a loser. Other than the inherant bias of the person who picked the moives and the absurdity of the idea that watching particular movies makes one a loser, this survey is biased against people who have lived longer and therefore have had more time to watch movies. While still being ridiculous, it would be better if the question at top were changed to "Number the ones you've seen in the past five years.". This would probably neccisate a lowering of the critical number, but at least make it more of a gauge of recent movie watching habits.

| Rocky Horror | ||
Went to Rocky Horror with It's been years since I've seen Rocky. It's changed so much since last time I went. Rocky Horror used to be about acceptance of everyone. That message seems lost nowadays. I don't want to be an old foot longing for the good old days. But in some ways I am. Ah well, it is still an enjoyable experience, I'm glad I went.

| It's Lake's Birthday | ||
I walked to ----- I forgot to bring my foundation with me, so I'm going to have to walk back home without any makeup on. I plan to play Cousin It, and cover my face with my hair. I learned that trick in the hospital, because it often would be some time before I'd get someone to watch me with sharps in the morning, so I'd have to walk around with my face unshaved. Not wanting anyone to see that, I'd cover my face with my hair. Sometimes the staff would gripe at me "Let's see your face." or "You can't walk around like that.", but I would generally ignore them.

| Thanksgiving Memories | ||
The Thanksgiving Potluck was small and cosy, as expected. The improvised stuffing turned out better than I expected. We've decided to call it "heathen stuffing". I'll be posting a recipe for it sometime in the near future. Sitting at the table with wine and food and friends is what Thanksgiving is all about for me. Stuffed bellies and smiling faces. Warm happy memories to keep close by in the approaching dreariness of January and February. ----- After dinner, we watched The Others, a wonderful movie I'd seen before but was happy to see again. We then watched the Eddie Izzard tape Mitzi brought over. I'd never seen Eddie Izzard before, and I must say he is incredibly funny. Mitzi has impeccable taste in comedy. I'm definitely going to try to see more tapes of his stand up routines.

| Do You Admire the View | ||
Around 7:00pm, Mitzi came over to watch Stigmata, a movie I recently purchased. Before the movie, we decided to get pakoras. I hadn't eaten anything, and thought I might eat with someone else. It is sometimes easier to do that when I can convince myself it is an expected social activity. I don't know if I can pull off the same thing tomorrow, I'll see when I get there. I also know one order of pakoras is not a good nutritional intake for the day, but it is better than nothing. pillowkisser joined us for the movie. She is a fabulous roommate. I love living with someone that not only accepts my psych issues, but can relate to many of them as well. Much can go unsaid, but understood. I think we can help each other a lot. ----- Mitzi told me that Bob of Sinister was hit by a car last week. What is it with my friends getting hit by cars this year? First Kat, now Bob. Bob is at home recovering, but he had brain hemorrhaging, and it is unknown if there will be permanent damage. Please let there not be. Bob is such a kind, wonderful, gentle soul. I hope and hope he keeps all the gifts he has. ----- Around 11:00pm; pillowkisser,

| Surprise Visit | ||
We got pakoras for lunch at Chai Café in Arlington Center. The pakoras at Punjab are yummy and cheap. Punjab's tamarind sauce is excelent as well. Good tamarind sauce is a necessity to smother the pakoras in. I have a feeling I'm going to become a regular customer. After lunch, Next we went to a tent sale at Video Horizons. I picked up two movies: Stigmata and Cecil B. Demented.

| The Flying Goblet | ||
I just accidentally knocked my goblet of generic diet raspberry soda onto the floor. The floor looks like the aftermath of a murder in a low budget horror flick. No real harm done, except for a surprised and soda-covered Mazzy thinking, "Why me?"
