purpleglitter and I went to Kickass Cupcakes in Davis Square on our way to Haveli (in Inman Square) last night. purpleglitter had a lucky cupcake (a cupcake with a fortune) and I had a very rummy mojito. All I can say is: delicious! Paddington gobbled up the catnip and cheese cupcake we got for her when we got home — and promptly passed out in a drugged haze. She hopes to find more of those magic cupcakes lying about. Paddington's cupcake even had an unsearchable goldfish cracker on top of hers. |

Yesterday was purpleglitter's and my 13 th anniversary. We went to Haveli for a romantic dinner, a place we haven't been to in a long time. Afterward, we had a mellow evening watching Torchwood and Doctor Who. It was a simple, but perfect, way to spend the evening together. Berv Love Lake ∞ |

Success! For breakfast I had macaroni and cheese laced with broccoli bits, for lunch I had samosa chole chat; for dinner I had linguine in a tomatoed alfredo sauce; for my healthy snack I had 3 mandarins. I got plenty of exercise walking home from merryperseis's place. No junk food. |

For breakfast I had angel hair pasta in a garlic butter sauce; for lunch I had mutter paneer on rice; for dinner I had pizza, and for my healthy snack I had three mandarins. However, I didn't get any exercise and ate quite a bit of the left over Halloween candy. We only got two groups of trick or treaters, so there was a lot left over. Tomorrow is another day, perhaps the day I make this attempt work.

Yesterday didn't work at all for Project Five. For breakfast I had spaghetti in tomatoe sauce with mushrooms, peppers, and parmesan cheese; for lunch I had vegetable and paneer pakoras followed by shahi paneer korma with rice and naan, for a healthy snack I had tortillas with spinach and garlic hummus.
I did no real exercise and only ate 2 meals and 1 snack as opposed to 3 meals and 2 snacks. So, no dice on day 2.

Yesterday, for breakfast I had tomatoe soup with parmesan cheese; for lunch I had paneer tikka masala wrapped in a tortilla; for dinner I had spaghetti in tomatoe sauce with mushrooms, peppers, and parmesan cheese; for my first healthy snack I had peanuts; for my second healthy snack I had pumpkin seeds. I got in a good hour long walk around Arlington.
I would have made it, however I foiled myself first thing yesterday morning. Before I was awake enough to remember I was starting Project Five, I started gnawing on some thai barbecue tortilla chips.

For breakfast yesterday I had pizza; for lunch I had pakora kadhi on forbidden black rice; for dinner I had flat bread pizza with mushrooms at the Flat Bread Café in Bedford. I didn't have a healthy snack, nor did I get any exercise. However, I did have some banana bread with ice cream. So, there!

For breakfast I had pizza; for lunch I had dal tadka on forbidden black rice; for dinner I had lentil soup, marinated mushrooms, and asparagus; for my healthy snack I had pumpkin seeds. Still no success however. I got no exercise and late in the evening I cooked up some rotini in tomatoe sauce with parmesan, peppers, olives, and mushrooms for purpleglitter and had a plate of it myself (dinner for purpleglitter, essentially a large close-to-midnight snack for me). I'm eating healthier. Even if I haven't "succeeded" in Project Three Meals yet, healthier is what really matters. |

Ugh. For breakfast I had masala ramen, for lunch I had two servings of bhindi masala on red cargo rice (one would have been a reasonable meal), for dinner I had a veggie burger. I had nothing that would be considered a healthy snack. Around 1am I stir fried up soy sauce marinated gluten, peanuts, and baby corn. I also had some cookies and got no exercise. Ah well, so be it. I'm still going to keep trying.

For breakfast I had spaghetti in tomatoe sauce with peppers and parmesan cheese, for lunch I had paneer butter masala with rice, for dinner I had two slices of faux chipotle sausage pizza with basil mozzarella baked on a garlic and herb crust, and for my healthy snack I had pumpkin seeds. I was sitting on my desk, spaced out, and before I could realizes what I was doing I had eaten a significant number of peanut chews. Having already foiled my day, I opted to have cookies later on when offered and I didn't get any exercise. I know the reasoning "I already screwed up, what the hell?" isn't the best and that I should strive to get as close as I can regardless of how well the rest of the day went. But I had already screwed up, so what the hell. Great "logic', eh? I'll do better and I intend to win the wager.  |

Close, but no cigar. For breakfast I had spaghetti with butter and parmesan, for lunch I had chole kulcha with naan, for dinner I had pizza, and for my healthy snack I had a pickle. I also got in my 30 minutes of exercise. One 50¢ roll of mini-donuts was all that stood in the way of me and success.

I didn't repeat Wednesday's success because i had a bowl of ice cream and didn't get any exercise.

The food part went perfectly: For breakfast I had spaghetti covered in tomatoe sauce with green and black olives, mushrooms, and parmesan cheese; for lunch I had a vegetable pakoras and samosas, for dinner I had a veggie burger and fries, and for my health snack i had nicoises olives. However, I didn't get any exercise and that is the area I need most to work on at this point.

For breakfast yesterday I had pizza, for lunch I had eggplant marinated in olive oil and garlic sautéed with faux abalone in a sandwich, for dinner I had kabuli chana with rice, for my healthy snack I had a pickle. I got in only 20 of my 30 minutes of exercise and ate almost half a bag of tings and some gelatin-free gummy bears, meaning still no successful Project Three Meals days. Even though I haven't actually accomplished the goal any day, I have cut down on my junk food and snacking and am getting more exercise, so I'm moving in the right direction even if I'm not there yet and that has always been the point of Project Three Meals.

For breakfast yesterday I had a left over enchilada verde, for lunch punjabi kadhi with rice, for dinner pizza, and for my healthy snack a pickle. I got in about 45 minutes of exercise between walking to dan4th's game night and walking halfway back. Almost made it. However, I had a small amount of cashew brittle and a chocolate caramel pretzel tangle. |

I had a very nice walk today. I started off at the house_of_clocks. I wasn't intending to walk, I was just sitting on the porch killing time waiting for purpleglitter to pick me up in about 45 minutes. I lit up one of the Romeo y Julietas that Christian gave me, and took off. I went down to Spy Pond, walking past the sundrenched flower gardens by the sidewalk. I turned onto the park path, which I haven't actually done since the park was reopened. I have to admit the park improvements look nice and there were plenty of geese pecking at the grass on either side the path - as there should be. Sitting alone on a rock by the path there was a grey-haired woman singing. Her song was in perfect harmony with the shining pond and trees. I stood there and listened and looked out over the pond. I gave her a wish pod before I continued on in my journey. I walked under the bridge, and back to Mass Ave, then back home. The walk put me in one of the best moods I've had in some time. purpleglitter soon picked me up for travels to Home Depot and the Chai Café and here I am still glowing from a perfect walk. |

I wasn't doing well yesterday before I got to the airport, and when I realized I didn't have the correct information with me after purpleglitter dropped me off, I broke down. However, I called purpleglitter who connected me with my mom on a conference call via purpleglitter's cell phone and I got the information I needed. From that point on, the trip went pretty smoothly. The people on the planes and at the airports were extremely nice to me. I was worried about going through security as a dissident tranny, but I passed without any problems. Perhaps that I was dressed conservatively and pass well these days helped in that regard. ..... Jonas is extremely cute. He knows his states and can say the alphabet and count to 100 both in English and Spanish. He just turned 2 last month, and he's wikkid smaht. I'm going to introduce him to Indian food this afternoon, we will be having methi mutter malai for lunch. |

I got in plenty of exercise between helping Jeff move in and walking to kyrene's house. However, I didn't do so well on the eating front. I had bhindi masala with red cargo rice for breakfast, pizza for lunch, Spanish rice with broccoli for dinner, and bean curd jerky for my healthy snack. But a couple junk food binges ended my hopes of a successful Project Three Meals Day. I'm not giving up, I'm still trying! |

I've left reality behind and it feels good. No drugs (at least for now), no gimmicks, just madness. Sure, I'm aware of my surroundings. I'm not hallucinating - too much. I can still manage to whip up a nice curry as will. But everything that was bothering me is gone. Not here right now. I don't even really remember what it was. Sure, if I want to I can go chase it down, but fuck that shit. I'm good at dissociation, and it's high time we used it to to make ourself happy. It's a crazy sort of happy. Manic may be another word for it. Everything is happy right now. Of course my constructs may come crashing down tomorrow or even tonight, but right now I don't care. But I don't care. We will sit on the floor with my cane and cackle. It's all funny. Everything is. We are chattering and being many and one. Switching persons, switching phases, switching reality, switching being. Maybe I'm not really anymore insane. Maybe my feeling more insane is simply an illusion of my already existing insanity. I feel as if I'm flying in a sea of bananas and I don't want to dry off.
