| So It Is Written
it's a literary sickness inspired by the sunburnt ashes of ages past laughing the same dysfunctional laughs your achievement is worthless
soon you'll be screaming for the flesh as the holy pen writes you out an unnamed author's cold reign from a dusty corner of a forgotten basement
an eccentric little tale with a twist ending curiosity leads to terror the laughing days are over

( si triggery )About a half hour after Cyndi cut (around 12:30am) I left the house. I was quite delusional and dazed. I walked down Mass Ave in my pajamas and bare feet. I walked in Mass Ave, sort of in a dance with the traffic. When cars would approach in one lane, I would move to the other. The police did not like my dance. Several squad cars pulled up and I was brought to the psych emergency room at Cambridge Hospital. After 10 hours there I was transferred to Whidden Hospital, where I am now. ----- Whidden Hospital is the most repressive place I've been yet. I'm not allowed to have a pen in my room. I'm not allowed to bring my stuffed animals out of my room. If I wake up late and miss "sharps time", I cannot shave. Getting vegan food has been a chore. The only plus is I have my own private shower. posted by dan4th |

purpleglitter and I went to a party at Sinister House. I got to see my old friend Mitzi, whom I had not seen in quite some time. I have missed her greatly. I also saw missclover. I have had some issues with missclover in the past, however I think we worked a lot out between us. I still like her very much, and it hurts that I don't know if we'll ever be as close friends as we once were. Regardless, I do very much look forward to renewing a friendship with her. At one point, there was a large discussion of LiveJournal, but I wasn't able to get everybody's username, as I forgot to bring my pen. I met many new and exciting people at the party and gave out a great many wish pods. I'm actually starting to run low on my supply of wish pods, and need to go out and gather more. I used to have two large jars of wish pods. Now, the last jar is nearing the bottom. |

The furnace needed to be drained. Which meant a trip down to the dark basement with a candle. When I grabbed for the candleholder, an idea hit me. I built the candle ring. I thought a small candle would be easier to wield, so I cut the longer taper down. While cutting the candle I managed to take a slice out of my finger. I used the last bandage, must remember to go out and get some more. I went down to the basement using the candle ring. While I was draining the furnace, noticed that the candle burnt fine titled sideways. This should have been obvious, since I turn them sideways to light them. As I tilted the candle another idea hit me. I have yet to make the device. I'll need to pick up pieces for it. I'm going to be running around all day tomorrow, so I shall pick up the supplies Thursday. |

| Through Gaps in the Tinfoil
candles everywhere daylights invade through gaps in the tinfoil covering dusty windows and rotted frames
the exploits of the previous night begin fading away
starfaced we try locking out reality just a little while longer
sweet mystical sounds from dead can dance attempt to hide the cluttered noise filled with the honks from angry motorists the roars of monster trucks the yellings of business and frustration from those who slept the night away
tattered blankets with blazing colors of grape and apple woven in checkered patterns attempt to hide the all-consuming glare threatening to take away what mystery and wonder still remains within these eggshell walls
our grasp on the surreal slips away from our hands the sun peeks through imposing harsh definitions on the frail darkness the brilliance cannot hold the magic of the void
air only a few hours ago smelling of cheese and candy and incense holds just a stale memory of what was
pop ice wrappers litter the floor
the woman with flowers in her hair who danced on the ceiling reduced to a lace outline
once again life goes on as if nothing happened
