My friend type_40, who I had a late meal with at Denny's tonight, has been dismayed about the lack of a decent forum dedicated to the old Doctor Who series. To rectify this, I created classic_who and set up the profile for her. I then handed her the reigns. Not much there yet; but if you are interested – go ahead and check it out.

I don't really use my MySpace account, but I seem to get plenty of spam there. Livejournal does a very good job at policing spam, it is very rare that I get any spam comments here. I used to run a couple communities that were prone to spam, but moderating membership pretty much ended that. But, on MySpace simply having a profile seems enough to get spammed on a regular basis. What is more, you have to go to the site and log in to even see the spam. MySpace will not email the text of the messages to you. I've gone ahead an disabled emails from MySpace, and therefore will not see any actual comments or people attempting to add me until I deign to go to the site and check.

I have updated my profile.

I put the schools I went to on my profile, with the exception of one of them that wasn't yet listed in the directory. I had resisted participating in the LiveJournal school directory, but I have decided to do it. I may change my mind and take them off at a later date. I hated school. I hated the vast majority of the assholes I went to school with. Fuck em.

I added a "sister communities" to all my community profiles shortly after I went live with spiralicons. Cross-promotion is good, and is already getting some of my communities new members.

Someone added me to the "About" section on the profile of multiplicity. I had imagined that I would be removed as maintainer when it was discovered that I was on the list, but I guess I'm not a fully recognised one. I added multiplicity to the list of communities I maintain on my profile.

I have grown dissatisified with the bio on my old profile, so I discarded most of it. I have a temporary one up now, and will expand it at a later date.

I just noticed that maintainers are now listed on the community profiles. It's about time, although I may be busted as far as my stealth maintainership of the multiplicity community goes.

I keep trying to distract myself from yesterdays events. I cried myself to sleep last night. It's been great looking over LiveJournal and seeing all the people who's lives he's touched. He was a genuinely good person. I want to not think about it and still pretend that he ran off. That's what I had convinced myself of while he was missing. That he had just got tired of everything and ran off. Now it's clear he didn't run off, I want to do simple things that keep my mind off it. Things like watching TV, reading Inside the Victorian Home, and editing my interest list. These things don't work all that well. Everyone is talking about closure. I don't feel like that, and probably won't until after the funeral. I want to pay my last respects. Then I'll feel closure.

New Profile I have finally found a place I fit in. I have a place in my community. I am the madwoman. I am a multiple system. In older entries I used "we" often, but nowadays I usually (but not always) use "I". Just easier to write that way. I still identify as plural. I'm also a bisexual, vegetarian, polyamorous mtf pre-op transsexual. I have two wonderful girlfriends (purpleglitter and merryperseis) and two wonderful cats (mazzycat and madeleinecat) Old Profile I don't really fit in anywhere, but I'm okay with that. I have dissociative identity "disorder" (or the condition formally known as multiple personality "disorder".) You will notice that in the course of this journal I will use "I" for me and "I" and/or "we" for the system as a whole or the Central Group. I've left behind my long gothic phase, and am currently molding my style into something infinitely more fabulous. I still have some gothic friends and gothic tendencies, but have been burnt too many times in the subculture to wish to continue immersion in it. I have decided to start my own. I have very eclectic musical tastes, as one might imagine. Diamanda is Goddess. My religion is my own. While I draw from both Neopaganism and Buddhism, most of it is simply what makes sense to me. I went to clintcatalyst's and Michelle Tea's reading of their new book, Pills, Thrills, Chills, and Heartache. I met up with clintcatalyst and purpleglitter beforehand and we sat around talking at purpleglitter's house. I met clintcatalyst once before, but I was waiting for my ride to the psych ward so we didn't interact much. This time we interacted quite a bit, and he is absolutely fagulous. I had big fun.

After the reading, I went out for food with clintcatalyst, Michelle Tea, and a bunch of people from the reading. I got to tell Michelle the circumstances under which I first read her books. I read Valencia in the back of a prayer group at Holy Family catholic hospital. I was on the psych ward there, and purpleglitter had brought it for me to read. Michelle really enjoyed hearing the story.

Full of pizza and fries, clintcatalyst, purpleglitter and I headed back to purpleglitter's apartment where we watched last Sunday's highly stressful episode of the Sopranos. But what episode of the Sopranos isn't highly stressful? I think that's part of the draw of the series, experiencing the stress, but have it be in no way related to you. It's actually quite cathartic and relieving.

purpleglitter took many pictures from last night, some of me, some of which I will post sometime soon. I was wearing a cute gothic schoolgirl dress that purpleglitter got me for my birthday. Stripy tights, completely gothed out. I gothed out, because I wanted to dress up for the occasion, and my red Little Orphan Annie dress doesn't fit anymore. All my dressy clothes that still fit are goth.

All in all, I must say, it's very exciting to meet people who are on your LiveJournal interest list.

Watched Amelie with purpleglitter and merryperseis last night. merryperseis had never seen it before, and liked it so much she added it to her interest list. It was nice watching such a wonderful movie with my two favorite people in the whole world.

I plan on spending today with purpleglitter, although I snuck in a valentine's day kiss with merryperseis at around 1:00am. purpleglitter and I don't quite know what we're doing today yet other than my daily workout. However, that is not romantic, and we need to come up with something romantic to do. Maybe a candlelight dinner or something along those lines. We'll think of something as the day progresses. I love purpleglitter and am glad I get to spend the day with her.

"Chicks with dicks" is a nasty degrading vulgar objectifying term. I can't stand it's use. It grates the ears. It's bothersome. Trying to friend a tranny with that in your interest list is just stupid. I am not a fetish. Yuck yuck yuck.

I've taken the following text out of my profile.

The walls in my room are covered in tinfoil. The ceiling has pictures screwed onto it (nails wouldn't hold). I've written on the walls and the floors. And various other surreal objects adorn the walls and shelves.

I just changed the name field on my profile to "The Madwoman of Menotomy".

If a friend of yours has never seen LiveJournal before, and you want to show them your journal, where are you most likely to send them?

I just added the line "This community is maintained by neitherday." to the profiles of all the communities I maintain. I hadn't added it before, because I thought doing such would be blatant self-promotion, and would distract from the community. However, I've noticed that sometimes users need to contact the maintainer of a community for whatever reason and can't figure out who it is. So I thought it was good policy to have a link to me, so that I can be contacted if someone needs to reach the maintainer of one of my communities.
