Project Three Meals - Attempt 15, Day 3

Ugh. For breakfast I had masala ramen, for lunch I had two servings of bhindi masala on red cargo rice (one would have been a reasonable meal), for dinner I had a veggie burger. I had nothing that would be considered a healthy snack. Around 1am I stir fried up soy sauce marinated gluten, peanuts, and baby corn. I also had some cookies and got no exercise. Ah well, so be it. I'm still going to keep trying.

Yesterday for breakfast I had masala ramen, for lunch I had pink beans in a coconut mustard sauce on naan, for dinner I had grilled portabella on a bun preceded by bread and macaroni and cheese balls, I didn't have a healthy snack. I had faux buttered popcorn at the movies with [info]zarthon and [info]purpleglitter and I didn't get any exercise.

Yesterday, for breakfast I had pizza, for lunch I had faux duck ramen, for dinner I had mac and cheese and black beans, for my healthy snack I had bean curd jerky. I got in a 40 minute walk after 11:00pm, fulfilling my exercise quota.

4 successful days.

Project Three Meals - Attempt 13, Day 2

For breakfast I had faux duck ramen, for lunch I had mac and cheese with black beans, for dinner I had tomatoe soup with mozzarella cheese, and for my healthy snack I had wasabi peas.

I got in more than enough exercise in a long walk that took me down Mass Ave to a tree-lined trail along the sludge river, then over Clarendon Hill, through Teele Square, and finally to Davis where I got a french soda at the Diesel Café.

Success again. Perhaps this is lucky 13.

For breakfast yesterday I had cheese stuffed ravioli with tomatoe sauce and parmesan cheese, for lunch I had two veggie corn dogs, for dinner I had potatoe salad, and for my healthy snack I had a pickle. Off the plan, I had two bowls of faux duck ramen and didn't get any real exercise.

Not a good start, but I'm determined to make this attempt work.

For breakfast I had faux duck ramen, for lunch I split an egg salad sub with [info]purpleglitter, for dinner I had sloppy joes, and for my healthy snack I had soy jerky. However I ate a bunch of sixlets as well as way too much chips and salsa. I didn't get any exercise too boot. Tomorrow's another day and I will do better.

Project Three Meals - Attempt 11, Day 1

The first day of this go at Project Three Meals went perfectly as far as food is concerned. I had rice pilaf for breakfast, ramen for lunch, stroganoff for dinner, and an apple for my healthy snack. However, I didn't get in any exercise. Will try to get that bit right tomorrow.

I've pretty much wasted this evening playing Super Mario 64 instead of doing much needed cleaning in preparation for the new roommate who will be moving in this weekend. I'm going to attempt to get some cleaning done before I go to sleep, even if I have to do it in zombie mode.

bliss bliss bliss... super extra spicy ramen better than an orgasm. holy wow. i feel the wonder of the whole and the pleasure of the absolute. capsaicin induced endorphin rush of amazement. i'm shaking and i can barely breathe, and that is a good thing. oh my holy holy! i've never had a religious ramen experience before, but i just i saw god in my noodles.

I had home seasoned ramen for breakfast, 2 tubes of peanuts for lunch, spaghetti in tomatoe sauce with mushrooms and parmesan cheese for dinner, and half an orange for my healthy snack. I also got in 30 minutes of walking. However I ate a bag of hot crunchy cheese bible curls, which threw my day plan off. I know I should be eating more fiber, but I can't really afford it. I'll do better tomorrow.

I was going to post this last night, but the power went out at LiveJournal and the site has been down for over 24 hours. Yesterday I ate masala ramen for lunch, fettucini broccoli alfrado for lunch, spaghetti in tomatoe sauce with mushrooms and parmesan cheese for dinner, and dates for my healthy snack. I also got in 35 minutes of walking. A very successful day.

Did much better today. Almost made it. I've decided not to count incidental foods such as lollipops at the bank and 15 calorie sugar-free popsicles at [info]purpleglitter's. I ate mac 'n cheese for breakfast, ramen for lunch, mac 'n cheese again for dinner and sunflower seeds as my healthy snack. I did eat some cookie substance, and that is what I missed the goal by.

I almost almost did it today. So almost I was tempted to say I did. I had a bowl of mushroom soup for breakfast, a bowl of ramen for lunch, a bowl of potatoe soup for dinner, and pumpkin seeds for my healthy snack. However the free samples at Whole Foods added up to another snack. At least it was another healthy one. Close, but no cigar.

I ate a reasonable breakfast and dinner (a bowl of mushroom soup and a bowl of ramen). However between those two meals I consumed a great deal of food. However, seeing as most of it was consumed at a wedding reception, I won't beat myself up too much about it. Maybe tomorrow will be the first day I succeed in my meal plan.
