Project Five - Attempt 2, Day 7

Yesterday, as predicted, didn't work out for Project Five. For breakfast I had pizza; for lunch I had rotini and faux italian sausage in a jalapeño jack sauce; for dinner I had spaghetti in tomatoe sauce with portobello mushrooms and parmesan cheese; for my first healthy snack I had a clementine; for my second healthy snack I had tortillas with spinach and garlic hummus.

I also had a hand full of walnuts and the rest of the Godiva chocolate. Several people have argued that Godiva chocolate is a healthy snack. I'm still not ready to put it in that category – regardless, both the nuts and the Godiva were beyond the two healthy snack quota and would therefore be outside the Project Five plan whether or not the Godiva is healthy.

I didn't get my exercise in either. I need to find a good indoor exercise regimen that I can and will do.

Project Five - Attempt 2, Day 5

For breakfast yesterday I had pizza; for lunch I had spaghetti o's with monterey jack cheese; for dinner I had spinach and ricotta stuffed ravioli in a tomatoe sauce with parmesan and green and black olives; for my first healthy snack I had spicy peanuts; for my second healthy snack I had chips and salsa - wait, that's not a healthy snack and neither was the salt and vinegar potatoe chips I had shortly after. Add in not meeting my exercise quota and I need to do better.

Project Five - Attempt 2, Day 4

For breakfast yesterday I had cream of mushroom soup; for lunch I had spaghetti o's topped with monterey jack; for dinner I had ricotta and spinach stuffed ravioli in tomatoe sauce with parmesan and green and blacks olives; for my first healthy snack I had a clementine, for my second health snack I had dried blueberries.

I didn't get in my exercise quota and I had a white chocolate Lindt ball. Mmm... it was good, but definitely not on the plan.

Project Five - Attempt 2, Day 2

Yesterday didn't work at all for Project Five. For breakfast I had spaghetti in tomatoe sauce with mushrooms, peppers, and parmesan cheese; for lunch I had vegetable and paneer pakoras followed by shahi paneer korma with rice and naan, for a healthy snack I had tortillas with spinach and garlic hummus.

I did no real exercise and only ate 2 meals and 1 snack as opposed to 3 meals and 2 snacks. So, no dice on day 2.

I did it! For breakfast yesterday I had spinach and cheese stuffed ravioli in tomatoe sauce with mushrooms and parmesan, for lunch I had spaghetti o's, for dinner I had mac and cheese, and for my healthy snack I had a pickle. I got in my exercise by walking to Davis Square. Finally. Now to see if I can repeat yesterday.

Food perfect yet no exercise, again. For breakfast I had spinach and cheese stuffed ravioli in tomatoe sauce with mushrooms and parmesan, for a very very late lunch I had sloppy joes, for dinner I had leftover enchiladas verdes, and for my healthy snack I had a pickle.

Project Three Meals - Attempt 12, Day 9

Food perfect. For breakfast I had spaghetti in tomatoe sauce with spinach and parmesan cheese; for lunch I had Spanish rice with faux pork; for dinner [info]zarthon took me out to Rudy's where I had enchiladas verdes, chili con queso, and jalapeño poppers; for my healthy snack I had a caffeinated cliff bar. I wanted to walk home from Rudy's for my exercise, but both [info]zarthon and [info]purpleglitter were very much against the idea because of the number of spells I've been having lately. They insisted I ride home with them, which I did. Sooner or later I'm just going to have to say fuck it and get in my exercise regardless of the spells. I have to live my life, and that means taking risks.

Project Three Meals - Attempt 6, Day 21

It is awfully late in the day to be posting this, but here is yesterday's Project Three Meals. Exercise went wonderfully. Got in a good three fourths an hour wandering around looking for [info]kyrene's party. Foodwise, well, I ate a lot and a lot of it wasn't healthy: macaroni and cheese with [info]purpleglitter; bean and rice pilaf, cream puffs, cheese and crackers, marinated mozzarella, cheese-its, patatoe chips, triple chocolate cake, apples dipped in caramelly goodness, ricotta and spinach pierogies, ass kicking peanuts, chocolate cream pie, and other assorted foodstuffs at the party. So yeah, I guess I'll count that as a day I didn't make it.

Into the Meadow

Went to the Great Meadow with [info]cobweb. We found an alternate route to the stepping stones. We crossed the stepping stones, but failed to find the Magik Pond. There are so many trails, it's hard to find the right one. Regardless, we had a great time walking through the meadow, taking in the views of the swamplands from the wooded hills. We must have gotten in at least 2 hours of walking, probably more.

I brought sandwiches of cheeze, spinach and thousand island dressing on oat bread in a picnic basket, and we had a picnic in a nice clearing. We drank green tea out of my amber coloured glass goblets. Very relaxing and peaceful.

I feel so much better after getting out and romping through the woods in my purple pajamas. I'm planning to make trips to the Great Meadow much more often.
