I forgot to mention earlier, as of my birthday party I have decided to be vegetarian again. I am feeling some pangs of guilt pulling me back towards veganism; however, I can't tell if these are temporary and will go away with time or are permanent. If they are permanent or become stronger, I will go probably back to being vegan. So, this decision is not final by any means. We'll see where life takes me.

I saw my urologist today. He gave me a clean bill of health. *bounces* Afterward, I met up with Sara and had a good time tooling around Harvard Square.

I arrived safely in Plattsburgh last night. It’s wonderful to see riga_mortia again after all this time. I’ve missed her.

She made sure there is plenty of vegan foods in her fridge for my visit. I met one of her friends last night, who was very nice. We hung out and smoked pot and did lines of Klonopin and generally had a very good time. I’m very much enjoying my visit here. I’m glad I came.

The doctor says that this should be a short stay so I believe that I will be getting out later this week. I am not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing but I have decided to do whatever they think is best this time. They have been very good about getting me veagan food, and that copuled with the snacks my girl friends have brought has kept me well fed. I am never hungry. I am not sure if that is good thing or not.

After a really crappy lunch, I was hungry and I ate the cheese and crackers that they have for snacks. I felt really horrible about eating non-vegan food so I purged. I know that didn't help anything. Soon my friends will bring me snacks and I won't have the temptation anymore. I'm going to stick to being vegan the rest of the time here. I won't let myself slip up again. It's just so damned tempting.

Yesterday I had 2 visitors dan4th and purpleglitter. purpleglitter brought some more stuff for me. As always she is extremly helpful when I get in these situations.

They've been better at getting me vegan food this time. I guess they learned after all the complaining I did the last time.

There are still some patients here from the last time I was here. But my doctor assures me that my stay will be short as he believes short stays work best for me.

merryperseis came to visit carrying many yummy treats, including pistachios and cups of soup to eat if they screw up my meals again or I just get hungry.

Shortly after merryperseis arrived, dicotomygrrl appeared with vegetarian delight from Shanghai Village. The three of us spent many laugh-filled hours in a room in the back of the ward.

During their visits, I signed a 3-day note, meaning that, unless they challenge it, I should be out Wednesday.

Today at lunch, I discovered there was bacon in my "vegan" wrap. Yucky burnt flesh. I discovered it after I had taken several bites. Luckily I have excellent purging skills and was able to get rid of it. I felt like harming myself afterwards. And they caught me scratching my cuts with my fingernails, like they did last night. So now I'm under even more supervised watch. I don't trust the food here anymore.

Since I've gotten here, I've both cut and purged. I purged because I ate non-vegan food because that was all that was available. I cut because I purged and because I ate the non-vegan food. So I'm not doing so great here. It was dumb to even come.

About a half hour after Cyndi cut (around 12:30am) I left the house. I was quite delusional and dazed. I walked down Mass Ave in my pajamas and bare feet. I walked in Mass Ave, sort of in a dance with the traffic. When cars would approach in one lane, I would move to the other.

The police did not like my dance. Several squad cars pulled up and I was brought to the psych emergency room at Cambridge Hospital. After 10 hours there I was transferred to Whidden Hospital, where I am now.

Whidden Hospital is the most repressive place I've been yet. I'm not allowed to have a pen in my room. I'm not allowed to bring my stuffed animals out of my room. If I wake up late and miss "sharps time", I cannot shave. Getting vegan food has been a chore. The only plus is I have my own private shower.

Went to the Salvation Army with purpleglitter. She bought me a wonder pair of knee high boots we found there for only $5. They will look perfect with my school girl outfits. I'm very excited.

merryperseis took me out to Buddha's Delight for a very belated birthday dinner. The food was wonderful. Absolutely wonderful. It's such a good feeling being able to order anything from the menu.

After dinner, merryperseis and I took a stroll down the bike trail in the gentle evening mist holding hands and occasionally kissing. She was so incredibly beautiful tonight. My bunny angel.

I went to my first peace rally today. Arlington has the bottom of barrel for peace protest hecklers. One yelled "communists" at us as she drove by. She seems to have lost track of the century.

In other news, my birthday party was small and fun, as predicted and I'm now officially vegan. Yesterday was my first vegan day. I almost put butter on my bread at Yee's Village. It seemed so natural. It's going to take some getting used to, but I know I'm going to feel better about myself for doing it.

I'm going to try get on livejournal more. I've been lax both posting and reading. Just have to get back in the habit.

I have been vegetarian for 10 years. Lately, merryperseis and I have been cooking for each other quite a bit. As merryperseis is vegan, I have been eating more and more vegan foods. As it stands now, I eat very little animal products, so the switch wouldn't be that hard. I would miss cheese and Symphony bars. But, neither is a major part of my diet. I can't think of the last time I ate something with egg or honey in it. This is going to require some serious thought.
